Tap-sensitive “blurry” skull.

Surprisingly, the prototype was really difficult to solder as the halftone pattern made it surprisingly hard for eyes to focus on the tiny solder joints and it gave me a headache. The learnings here could be used to design PCBs that are difficult for technicians to solder.

Challenges Overcome

The most difficult aspects of this project were:

• Routing the charlieplexed LED connections within the skull shape without compromising the visual design
• Component placement given extremely small design
